Description

Designed by Rocky Chiaro in 1994. Rocky licenced Bits and Pieces to make some copies of his puzzle

Goal: Remove the ring.
Size:  68mm long
Materials: Brass
Condition: There’s no packaging but there is an original solution page with this puzzle. Puzzle is still bright and shiny; it looks a bit pitted in the photo but with the naked eye its not too bad.  It may even be original from manufacture.  Good condition for Bits and Pieces.

  General Information:

This is Brian Young from Mr Puzzle in Australia selling some doubles as a result of merging Ray Mead’s collection into my own existing collection.

If you have any questions you can email me separately at mrpuzzle@mrpuzzle.com.au  But please don’t email and ask to discontinue the auction. All auctions will run their duration. It’s the fairest course for everyone.

Prices are in Australian Dollars (not US Dollars). We much prefer payment via Wise or other bank transfer. PayPal is also possible. After the auction please message me first to let me know if you would like standard or express postage. Rates below. Do not pay until I send you the invoice for the full amount.
Cost to ship this puzzle Standard:  Australia AU$15 - NZ AU$28 - US/Canada/Asia  AU$35 - UK/EU/Scandinavia AU$40
Cost to ship this puzzle Express:  Australia AU$18 - NZ AU$45 - US/Canada/Asia AU$53 - UK/EU/Scandinavia AU$58
Other countries please request a quote.

If you buy more than one item I will be happy to combine ship and quote postage based on exact weight. Usually unless a very heavy puzzle is involved it won’t be much different to the single item.

Import duties/tariffs are not included in the final price.  The import duty or tariff rate may be different for every country so please check the rate that applies to your own country.  It is usual practice that import duties or tariffs are paid by the buyer at the point of import or delivery in your own country. USA is the exception. The USA government has mandated that the tariff be paid to them from Australia before we can send the parcel. The tariff percentage for puzzles made in Taiwan is currently set at 10% + Customs clearance fee.

Hexagonal Porcupine 48 piece
This puzzle was designed in 1970 and made by Bill Cutler in or after 2006 and comes with Bill’s original information sheet and solution hints. The puzzle grew out of the 12 piece Hectix (or Hextix by Stewart Coffin) which Bill and Stewart both came up with independently in the 1960’s.Over the years Bill made various versions of the Hexagonal Porcupine where the inner rods have unusual notches. This version is more streamlined and only takes a couple of moves to get out the first piece which s...

Polly-Hedral IPP26 puzzle made by Stewart Coffin
This 6 piece interlocking puzzle was designed and made by Stewart Coffin for Jerry Slocum to exchange at IPP26 in Boston 2006. The puzzle is labelled inside as design #206 see photo - and Stewart has written S.T.C.2006 in pencil on one of the pieces inside that I saw when I took it apart to check. But I forgot to take a photo and I don't wish to take it apart again! Its a handful; at least for me!Goal: Take the six pieces apart and put them back together again. Size:  75 x 75 x 75mmCondition:...

Rialto Bridge IPP43 exchange puzzle
This puzzle fits into a couple of different categories of puzzle. Brian calls it a sequential move puzzle. There are items to find and get out of the puzzle so it could be called a puzzle box in a way.But Brian does not consider it to be a full-blown SD like he’s done in the past.Goal:   What you have around the Rialto Bridge is gondolas and gondoliers, right? So you have to find the gondola and gondolier inside the puzzle. As well as his oar (pole) and the ballast (we jokingly said that was ...
