Very hard puzzle design by George Sicherman. Pack the 6th piece in the tray as well.
This puzzle is new and packaged as it was originally sold. Since retirement I’ve had some unsold stock of puzzles listed on eBay. I’m listing these items at lower prices than eBay in case you win an auction item and want to take the opportunity to combine ship other items.

You’re given a tray with a diamond-shaped recess. There are 5 pieces of the puzzle already in it. Plus there is one piece outside the diamond frame. But there seems plenty of space to fit the extra piece into the frame so how can the puzzle be so difficult?
Just ask Brian. It is! He’s played with the puzzle. He’s even made the puzzle. But he’s not looked at the solution sheet yet. Only Sue knows that it goes together for sure. As it stands at the moment Brian’s never actually solved the puzzle.
The Edward Hordern puzzle exchange event is held every year at IPP. Participating puzzlers bring a new design of good quality and they proceed to fill the day by exchanging their puzzle with the puzzle of each of the others in the room. By the time the puzzlers explain the concept of their puzzle to each other, some with a long story and in costume! it can take quite a while to get through the event. But he did have a lot of fun at IPP39 exchanging the puzzle with his Ray Gun in hand.
The puzzle is from laser-cut acrylic - Red pieces on a Green base.
Outer frame size: 145mm x 95mm x 6mm
Solution included inside clear shrink wrap packaging.

All prices in Australian Dollars (not US Dollars). We much prefer payment via Wise or other bank transfer. PayPal is also possible.
After the auction please message me to let me know if you would like standard or express postage. Rates below. Then I will send an invoice including postage (and tariff for US buyers).
If you buy more than one item I will be happy to combine ship and quote postage based on exact weight. Usually unless a very heavy puzzle is involved it won’t be much different to the single item below.
The puzzles will be shipped from us here in Australia by Australia Post.

Import duties/tariffs are not included in the final price.
The import duty or tariff rate may be different for every country so please check the rate that applies to your own country.
It is usual practice that import duties or tariffs are paid by the buyer at the point of import or delivery in your own country.
USA is the exception. The USA government has mandated that the tariff be paid to them from Australia before we can send the parcel. The tariff percentage may be different depending on where the puzzle was made. For Mr Puzzle puzzles made here in Australia the rate is 10% + Admin fee.
