"Rattlesnake" was the 2023 Christmas gift of the clever Shou Sugimoto.  The box is made from several different colored woods.  This box has fidget-like character, and is a lot of fun to manipulate on the way (hopefully) to the solution.  The mechanism is mechanically intricate, although a "cooked" solution has also been discovered.  The box is no longer currently available through the Karakuri Creation Group web site.  Of course, the box is pristinely made, and my copy is in mint condition ...
