"Joint 2" (RF-76) was the 2022 Christmas gift of the great Hiroshi Iwahara, heir apparent to the leadership of the Karakuri Creation Group. The box is made from two different types of beautifully contrasting woods, with a small piece of a third type of wood in the center. But the amazing thing about this Karakuri box is the PRECISION with which the two halves fit together; the match is flawless! Iwahara mentions that although Joint 2 "takes less work to open" than its predecessor, Karakuri Joint (RF-75) from earlier in 2022, "when I showed it to my fellow craftsmen, they seemed to have more trouble opening it."
Of course, the box is pristinely made, and my copy is in mint condition and in its original box with original plastic bag. Since it was a Karakuri Christmas present, it does not come with its individual solution, but I will supply a photocopy of the solution from the collected 2022 Karakuri Christmas puzzle solution sheet.

priority mail pricing for between $11.30 and $16.60 (depending on postal
code) if preferred. I am happy to ship
internationally at cost (typically around $30, depending on
country), but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
