Description

This collection features four high-end mechanical puzzles. These aren't your average plastic brainteasers; they are heavy, precision-engineered metal challenges designed for display and deep focus.

1. Cast Duet (The Magnetized Maze)

  • The Design: A 3x3 grid with two interlocking magnetic rings.
  • The Goal: You must navigate the rings through the linear grooves. Because they are magnetic, they flip and resist in unexpected ways.
  • Level: Hanayama 5/6 (Expert).

2. Cast Cage (The Star & Bars)

  • The Design: A classic "Hedgehog in a Cage" variant in high-polish chrome.
  • The Goal: Extract the multi-pointed star from the cylindrical cage. It looks impossible, but there is one—and only one—path to freedom.
  • Level: Hanayama 3/6 (Intermediate).

3. Cast Medallion (The Rotating Discs)

  • The Design: Two heavy, circular discs that nest together.
  • The Goal: Slide and rotate the gold and silver discs through internal maze-like tracks. It requires a "feel" for the hidden paths inside.
  • Level: Hanayama 4/6 (Challenging).

4. The Maze Cube (The Aluminum Masterpiece)

  • The Design: A hollowed-out aluminum cube with three sliding brass rods.
  • The Goal: This is a complex sequential discovery puzzle. You must manipulate the rods through the cut-out maze faces to unlock the core. It’s the heaviest and most valuable piece in the set.
