Description
This is Brian Young’s famous Washington monument puzzle, from the 2012 International Puzzle Party #32 in Washington DC.
The object of the puzzle is to unlock and open it, find the blue, closed and re-lock it. You will have solved the puzzle when you can complete these two stages.
This puzzle is fully functional in good used condition. Note in the photos some cosmetic damage. There are a few small nicks around the base of the obelisk, and a small dent in the top of the obelisk. Otherwise, the puzzle looks perfect.
I recently ordered a set of flags from Brian (one of the toothpicks broke) so you will get three extra flags to keep as spares. Also included are the instructions and solution.
