This puzzle is a exchange puzzle by Carlo Gitt for the International Puzzle Party 24 held in Tokyo, Japan 2004
Objective / Description
As you may have found out, there is surely no solution for the six original pieces in this set. But if you examine each piece, you may find out that one tetromino piece has a joint which may be rotated (see piece beside). If you either transform it by rotation in two of the three other forms, there will be at least one solution for the set to be assembled in the form of a 3 by 3 cube without holes or knobs.
