Puzzle lot 3 ABCD interlocking/burr puzzles by Alex Boudreau (Simplurrs)

This is a great opportunity to explore the work of an emerging designer in the interlocking puzzle community: Alex Boudreau, also known as ABCD (Alex Boudreau Creative Designs).

Alex has been designing interlocking burr puzzles for a little over a year. While many of his designs are inspired by well-known creators, they are all his own original work. People who have tested his puzzles generally agree that they are well-designed and enjoyable to solve.

This lot includes a selection of 3D-printed puzzles. Some are prototypes, meaning they may feel lighter or have minor visual imperfections, but all are fully playable. Unless noted otherwise, these puzzles were printed for me directly, with Alex’s permission.

Lot Details – “Simplurr Series” by Alex Boudreau (ABCD)

This lot features the complete Simplurr Series – a brand-new collection of six interlocking burr puzzles designed by Alex Boudreau (ABCD). Each puzzle in the set (S1 to S6) includes 4 to 6 pieces and stays under level 30, making them accessible yet interesting for solvers of all experience levels.

Some designs are based on familiar shapes, and the series was created with beginner burr solvers in mind — a clear reminder that burrs don’t always have to be intimidating. One of the puzzles (S3) even includes a rotation step (marked with an "R"), a first in Alex’s design work.

• S4: Level 19
• S5: Level 21.9
• S6: Level 15

Each puzzle is 3D printed, and unless otherwise noted, they are fully playable and include no missing or substitute pieces. This is a great intro set to burrs for collectors or new solvers looking to explore lesser-known designs.
