This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2020.
I've always thought that the structure of a pair of nail clippers was interesting, so I made a karakuri box that makes use of it.

This is an unusual and special box. It was designed and made in 2000 by Yoshio Okiyama of the Karakuri Creation Group. The last time one was up for auction was eight years ago.
