Description

i suppose this is technically the third edition of this puzzle, made about five years after the originals, but according to Rob:

Originally the first and second editions were only a few months apart back in 2007.  These days, since they were made in the same year and so long ago, I kind of lump them together into the same edition run.

The one in the picture is from the next generation, around 5 years later.  It is what I would say is from a 2nd edition run, because I lump the first two back-to-back ones together.  I would call it 2nd edition but it has that * (asterisk).

made with purpleheart and walnut with maple inlays.

and yes, the chopsticks are usable.  but if you ever put them in the dishwasher, Rob and i will find you and we will have a discussion about proper wood care.

Juno - Reza 4-4 (2017)
one of Juno's many Platonic Solid burr constructions, and one of the simpler ones at that. i can only imagine the jigwork that goes into cutting these pieces, although it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Juno just eyeballs all these angled cuts and uses an X-Acto handsaw, because he's just that good. buyer pays shipping. shipment will be by USPS Priority Mail, insured for the full sale price. payment via PayPal only. ♫:  all puzzles in my col...

Sonneveld's Cubed Burr
designed by Dic Sonneveld in the late 90's and made by Tom Lensch, though i don't know what year he made it.the cage is made from blue mahoe, avodire, and primavera, with burr pieces made from granadillo (a.k.a Mexican rosewood). this is the complete description from puzzleworld.org: A three-piece burr is contained within the cube. It is very difficult to disassemble and assemble, requiring rotations and other unnatural acts in addition to the usual burr movements. ...
