Description

⟬ Fisher Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——06. Halpern-Meier Tetrahedron (2014)

built on a Meffert's skewb with ball-bearing alignment.  movement is perfect.

from the description in the TwistyPuzzles.com museum:

This transformation of a Skewb is also known as "Halpern-Meier-Tetrahedron" (short: HMT) after the two persons (Benjamin R Halpern and Kersten Meier) who first came up with this concept.

The patent behind the number given here dates back to 1981 and names Mr. Halpern as inventor.

In 1984 Aleksandr Ordynets filed a patent which covers the HMT (including trivial tips) and Trajber's Octahedron. This must be a case of parallel invention.

Tony Fisher is credited as inventor in this museum because he is the first person who is known to have actually produced one sample (by hand), which took place in 1991.

Tony Fisher - Puckube (2006)
⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——10. Puckube (2006) made for Dutch Cube Day 2006. from the TP museum entry: This is a transformation of a Puck Puzzle. The main body of the Puck has become the middle layer of the cube. The Puck's middle semi circles were extended to form the top and bottom layers. The transformation was done by hand and the new pieces were made from high impact polystyrene plastic. On a regular Puck Puzzle ...

⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——13. Truncated Pillowed Hexaminx (2013) made from a massproduced hexaminx (a puzzle originally made for Dutch Cube Day 2008) and sold through Tony's website. what's the big deal? why just shave off the corners? as he says in the presentation video, it looks nice, it makes a collection more varied and interesting, he likes making these transformations, and in principle every variation shoul...

Tony Fisher - V-Dome (2012)
⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——15. V-Dome (2012) from Tony's original description: This is my transformation of a 6x6x6 V-Cube. It was inspired by my own Ball in a Cube puzzle as well as my Sliding Pucks. I have always wanted to use the interior 6x6x6 pieces as parts of a puzzle that need to be solved. In addition I like the fact that often the parts are hidden from view like the sides of my Sliding Pucks. ...

Tony Fisher - Locked Blocks (~2014)
⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——06. Locked Blocks (~2014) the original six-colour versions were made for Dutch Cube Day 2013; i believe this particular gold version was made a year or so later. from Tony's original description: This puzzle is similar to my Slide Twist Twist Slide and Twisted Assembly puzzles.
