Description

Designed by Akio Kamei and made at Karakuri.  The Small Cubi puzzle was given as a gift for attendees of Karakuri Welcome Banquet at IPP30 Osaka+Hakone.
The top of the box is engraved IPP30 Akio Kamei.

The puzzle is the forerunner to a series of Binary Cube to come later from Karakuri.

Goal: The box requires 32 moves to open.
Materials: The puzzle is made from a dark wood.
Size: 55mm x 55mm x 55mm
There is a paper solution taped inside the box.

Condition: The puzzle has been kept in its original box and plastic since given so its in perfect condition.
I did take it out and stepped through the solve to be sure it worked correctly. I put a little talc to make it move even more smoothly. It works well.
Its easy to get lost in this one the first couple of times you step though it!

Ovolo 8 piece Yavuz Demirhan designed burr
Made for the Edward Hordern IPP36 in Kyoto, Japan. August 2016Designed by Laszlo Molnar. Made by Mr Puzzle. As soon as Brian saw this design published by Yavuz Demirhan on Facebook he immediately wrote to Yavuz to get permission to produce it.  He knew it would be a winner!  A nice balance of wood interwoven with acrylic makes a good looking puzzle.  This puzzle is not so difficult to take apart.   But mix up the pieces, walk away and forget about them, come back later and you’ll find it q...

Rialto Bridge IPP43 Exchange puzzle
This puzzle fits into a couple of different categories of puzzle. Brian calls it a sequential move puzzle. There are items to find and get out of the puzzle so it could be called a puzzle box in a way. But Brian does not consider it to be a Sequential Discovery puzzle. Goal:   What you have around the Rialto Bridge is gondolas and gondoliers, right? So you have to find the gondola and gondolier inside the puzzle. As well as his oar (pole) and the ballast (we jokingly said that was the...

Twelve Piece Box (Sp) Comb. 22-5
This puzzle is designed and made by Hidekuni Tamura. There are many puzzles in this series.  This one is Comb 22-5.
