This Karakuri Idea Contest Winner was handcrafted out of Oak and Cherry by Yoh Kakuda and Yasuaki Kikuchi based on an original idea by Masaki Ohnishi. This box features two removable pieces and a "hidden" feature that you cannot see without close inspection. It is larger than most Karakuri - I need to let it go to open up some space (and funds). This is a new release from Hiroshi Iwahara of Karakuri Creation Group which immediately sold out. The first drawer opens in 5 moves; the second drawer opens in 241 moves. Very smooth mechanism through the entire solve. Beautiful display piece. Mint condition. All of my current auction items are listed at a price below what I paid for the puzzle.
