Description

Loki's Box of Tricks definitely lives up to the patron trickster god it was made to honor!

You will be taken on a wild ride through Norse mythology centered on Loki and his 3 monstrous children who are helping him to challenge and trick you! Watch for Hel's Fenrir's, and Jörmungandr's attempts to ruin you and drive you mad!

It's a puzzle box with multiple layered challenges where you first have to figure out how to crack the padlock to open the box, and then work your way through 3 different types of challenges, before dealing with a meta puzzle using clues found in the prior 3 puzzles to reach the end and find the mysterious prize gifted by Loki to worthy heirs!

I won't say too much about the hidden puzzles, but I'll point out that there is a cipher to be decoded at the end for clues to solve the meta puzzle which I know a lot of people don't like doing at all. So this is me spoiling that puzzle type so people know what they are getting into.

The only flaw I have with the puzzle is that some parts were very tight and stiff to move due to the friction of the wooden pieces sliding past each other. I think they could have been corrected with a little sanding, but I didn't want to do that to a puzzle that I'm passing on to someone else who would have been bothered by sanding marks. It was only an issue for the Jörmungandr challenge.

I'll also point out the phrase on the front of the box, "I am Loki, Loki is you" isn't part of the puzzle at all. Martin offered to engrave a name on the front for every Kickstarter backer, and I just wanted to be cute with a mysterious phrase instead of using my own name.

Buyer chooses the shipping service and shipping speed, First Class or Priority (assuming the package is under the weight limit for First Class).
