Alan Rolfs has been participating continuously in the IPP (International Puzzle Party) Exchange since at least 1997 (which is as far back as my IPP history goes). "DRUMSTICKS" was his exchange puzzle at IPP19 held in London in 1999 (coincidentally, my first puzzle exchange!). The clever internal mechanism provides a challenge to the solver to separate the two "drumsticks" from each other. The puzzle measures 6 inches (15 cm) in length. I will include a copy of the solution to DRUMSTICKS from the IPP19 Booklet.
