Description
I am having a hard time selling off this one.  Yoh Kakuda is well-known for puzzles with adorable animal themes and distinctive narrative style, and what could be better than a puzzle box that’s a boxing kangaroo?  The solution is perfectly connected to what it represents.  The workmanship is superb, including an incredibly adorable move.  All original packing material is included.

Karakuri product description:

This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2021.
This is a kangaroo with an imposing appearance.
If you carelessly touch it, it will fight back.
I named this work after the striking lyrics of a song.
However, I didn't know boxing kangaroos were well known.
(Song "I'll Have To Dance With Cassie")

A Box in a Bag (2010) - Kyoko Hoshino (Karakuri)
Kyoko Hoshino is a relative early Karakuri craftsman with a limited output of highly inventive puzzles, including especially boxes that combine wood and fabric.  A Box in a Bag is a classic of hers of this type.  A box sits in a bag that is closed on top.  The goal?  Open the box of course!  This hard-to-find puzzle has rarely been available by auction. Karakuri product description:This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2010. This is a box in the bag. You can not take it out. Th...
